The second annual Coldwell Banker Denver Century Ride has now expanded to two-days and is scheduled for June 11 and 12, 2011 at INVESCO Field at Mile High and has partnered with the Rocky Mountain Bicycle Festival. The Denver Century Ride continues to be the only cycling event to start and stop from a single metro area location and offers three scenic courses ranging from 5 to 100 miles, novice to expert. The Community Ride, planned for 10a on Saturday, June 11th, offers a flexible length from 5 to 22 miles to accommodate every ability and includes a child-size and child friendly aid station around mile 3. On Sunday, June 12th, riders plan to enjoy the 62-mile Metric Century course or the 100-mile Century course; both of which summit Lookout Mountain before meandering through the foothills and scenic byways throughout the metro area. The official start time for the Sunday rides is 6:15a. The Rocky Mountain Bicycle Festival is open both days from 10 a – 6p and features leading brands, demos, free clinics, kids activities, GoldSprints, movies and more.
