2011 Air Force Academy - Cancelled

"The Sand Creek Road Race August 14th previously scheduled at Air Force Academy will no longer happen at the AFA as of June 16th. AFA canceled the race due to heightened security. We are now looking at a venue in and east of Fountain. This race will be the ACA Colorado State Senior Road Race Championship."

This is a bummer--not to often you can race pretty much on a closed course. The promoter's website also said that he couldn't find a replacement venue in time. I wonder what the ACA is planning?
