FALSE! Whoever wrote this is wrong and should come forward and correct their mis-speak.
Tim and Tim will NOT be helping with the Copper Cross course.
Race across america promoters will be running the show. Fingers crossed (no pun intended)
We'll be racing the Fall Classic MTB race in Breckenridge.

Worst CX Course Ever

Worst CX course ever, they did nothing beyond sticking stakes in the ground?

Agreed! I am thankful for people putting time and effort into creating races, but this course was pretty bad.
It's not easy building a cx course

I wasn't there so I don't know how bad is bad but having attempted to create my own cross course I can say it's harder then it seems. What radius should you give a corner, how to determine race speeds at course construction times, etc.
I've had the luxury of playing around with course building in east boulder but my trails honestly have sucked but how bad a trail sucks depends on what you like to see in a course.
What resources are out there that course builders have access to to help them build the "perfect course"? n

What are your gripes with the course? If it was too "bumpy" for you, go back to the road. The course had plenty of turns forcing you to flow, or scrub your speed if you couldn't, a short run up on stairs, a barrier with a run up, a couple tricky gravel pits, and yes, you had to watch for pinch flats, It's always nice to race a killer course, but the race/competition is the bottom line. Shut up and race!

Agreed. But the poop thing needs attention. Apparently this was a re-route for the second half of the day.
I liked the paver section and the steps, etc, through the restaurant/bar area - that was pretty cool. Excellent spectator venue. I fell a few times near the S turns, but I'll take the blame for that.
It was a fun day and I recommend doing the other races in this series.

Definitely room for improvement - a lot of lost blood and skin yesterday.
It wasn't all bad, but cleaning up fresh horse crap isn't too much to ask I think.

Brektober cross??

Any word on what happened to the Brek race? That was a great venue plus the proximity to greasy food and beer could not be beat. Sounds like the copper cross was a good one to skip.
