The spectacular high-desert of Fruita, CO sets the stage for the series prologue and the first XC race of the season. If you didn't race here last year, then you probably don't know Rabbit Valley, and its dirty little secret, The Western Rim Trail.

Rabbit Valley is known for the fun nature of its trails- lots of whoops, minor technical sections and fast tracking. But once you hit the Western Rim Trail, watch out, and don't get too enamored by the views- this cliffside adventure twists and turns around incredible rocks formations created by the Colorado River, with steep ledges and drops to your side. This course best suits a well-rounded rider whose skill sets blend both fitness and technical prowess.
