From the ACA today...

Much to my disappointment, I'm having to cancel the Mini-Classic due to lack of registered riders. Look for a more detailed explanation in tomorrow's news-mail.

Event Description
A road stage race specially designed for Junior racers age 8 to 18 ONLY. All stage race rules will be enforced. Riders must complete a stage to be eligible to start the next stage. This is an American Cycling Association (ACA) sanctioned event. An ACA license is required to race. A license can be obtained by printing, filling out, and mailing an application from ACA or by completing application at the event. Cancelled, really

I am so disappointed to hear this. We just heard about this race, I registered my three boys for an ACA license and tried to register them for this race, but this site wouldn't let me. I think you cancelled too soon. Would you please reconsider?

Mini Classic and Camps

Mini Classic is most definitely on for 2010 in a town that wants (and needs) a great special event. It will definitely be costing the ACA some money but nothing compared to last year. I know all the racing parents will be jealous when they see the RR course, I am!

We are already working on CX camp. Our Junior Development Coordinator, Zak Grabowski is slowly learning the ropes of event coordination and promotion.
